Linear Algebra Pre-Quiz

Welcome to CS 357! This quiz helps me understand where you all are in terms of your understanding of linear algebra and how to best serve you given where you're coming from.

You will receive a grade telling you how well you did, but you can rest easy: That grade does not yet contribute to your overall grade for the class.

Answer the following questions to the best of your knowledge. You may not remember some of the vocabulary--that's totally fine. Remember: this is me trying to find out how much you do remember, not testing you on this material.

Please avoid using external aids such as Google while you're taking the quiz. What I'm trying to find out here is what your off-the-bat understanding is. If you make yourself look better, I'll assume you know more and reduce the amount of time we spend reviewing linear algebra, so that strategy might come back to bite you in the end. But I'll stop talking now. Let's get started!
